Rooted in the Saskatchewan NewStart framework and evolved with nervous-system-informed facilitation, it’s designed to last and to put people first.
*Self-location – Indigenous research methodology. *Immram – journey by water, Irish storytelling.

A group ventures into the unknown & volunteers their recorded lived experience as one thread of audio in the braid that builds the story.

Literacy means knowing enough to know what we don't know - expert research & interviews become your physical guide.

We're serious about UNESCO around here - indigenous and Irish oral storytelling are technology. And we don’t need another app because we turn raw conversations into resources anyone can use.

Built from Saskatchewan’s NewStart model, mentored by Heaven Bent’s TJ & Award winning Liz Weird, & refined across cultures and systems.
In 2021, we launched a three-part pilot to test a bold idea: what if people could map the mental health system before they entered it — and do it together? Three participants let listeners follow their real-time attempts to get care. By the end:
Every participant was in therapy.
One participant and one leadership team member enrolled in their Master’s of Counselling — using the same framework from the group to get through their own program together.
A clear proof of concept emerged: the barriers aren’t only in the system. Many live in what we don’t know about ourselves, therapy, and the path to finding the right fit.
Season 1 wasn’t about scale — it was about testing the group model and the barrier hypothesis, proving the gap exists, and showing that the framework works in real life.
Recording begins March 2026 with a 16-week participant cohort, a 24-episode podcast & guide, and episodes that begin drip-releasing in three arcs starting November 2026.
Our journey structure:
Arc 1: Know Yourself, Know the System — self-reflection, value systems, therapy literacy, understanding regulation, and navigating myths vs. realities.
Arc 2: Find the Right Fit — identifying what you need, interviewing therapists, navigating bias, and building safety.
Arc 3: Now You’re In — what to expect in therapy, building the relationship, and staying the course.
Throughout, listeners hear directly from participants as they go through the process — raw moments, big realizations, and honest challenges. Expert voices provide context, while the group’s shared learning becomes part of the public record.
